Short version: an email address for every payment, an optional display name, and nothing else.

What is collected

Every payment requires an email address. It is used to tell you when someone outpays you and to send a receipt. It is never shown on the site, and it is never displayed next to an entry.

A display name is optional. If you provide one it is public, appears in the payment list and can appear as the credit on an entry. Leave it empty and the payment is shown as anonymous.

What is public

Payment amounts and their timing are public, because they are what produces the ranking. Making them private would make the boards unverifiable.

Entries about you

Anyone can create an entry naming a person, and nothing is checked before it goes live. If an entry is about you, use the removal link on that entry. Removal requests concerning a real person are handled before anything else in the queue.

Payments and processors

In production, card details are handled by a payment processor and never reach this site. In this prototype no payment is taken at all.

Your requests

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Deleting your email removes the notifications tied to it; payments already made stay in the public totals, because removing them would silently rewrite a public ranking.
