Cervejaria Ramiro

A beer hall on Avenida Almirante Reis in Lisbon, open since 1956 and run by the same family since. Shellfish by weight, bread with garlic butter, no reservations and a queue on the pavement most evenings.

It takes no bookings and has never advertised, so the only way it reaches a list like this one is if the people who eat there put it on one.
